May 2009 Newsletter

Summer is coming faster and faster. We are now less than 50 days until our tour starts, and in less than 30 days we will be having our annual orientation, where you will have the opportunity to meet other campers from the tour. Our counselors will be there to meet and greet you, and there will be great food and fun for the whole family.

June orientation

Our orientation will be held in the middle of June, only for enrolled campers. This is a great opportunity for all of the campers to meet their counselors, meet other campers on the tour, and to learn more about the tours offered for the 2009 summer.

Amusement park events

Freestyle Park - Former known as Hard Rock Park, will be opening this Memorial Day weekend. The major roller coasters will have new names:
Zeppelin the ride will now be known as The Time Machine
Slippery When wet will now be named as Soak'd
Life in the Fast Lane will be called Iron Horse
Shake, Rattle & Rollercoaster (Kiddie coaster) is called Hang Ten
Maximum RPM will be called Round About

Six Flags Magic Mountain - Terminator Salvation will be opening on May 23rd

Six Flags NJ and MA - They have renamed Medusa and Superman to Bizarro, which is a character that is the exact opposite to Superman. The ride plans on opening Memorial Day weekend

TCT Forums - Secured website for approved people to speak with other campers.

Anaheim Angels face off against the New York Yankees in a game between two teams that are expected to win their respected divisions
Blue Man group in Las Vegas. This is a crazy show, and to make it even better we will be in the poncho section of the theatre. Sure to be a splattering good time
